What is Psychotherapy ?
Psychotherapy is a powerful way to increase self-awareness, support personal growth, learn new skills, and heal emotional wounds that may be interfering with living a fulfilling and meaningful life.
In our sessions, we will explore the challenges you face, the patterns that may be holding you back, and the issues that cause distress or pain. I will ask questions to help you gain insight, offer new perspectives, and gently challenge unhelpful patterns, while providing tools and strategies to help you meet your needs more effectively—in your relationships, at work, and in everyday life.
I work adults and on a wide range of concerns and goals. Common reasons people seek therapy include:
Depression or anxiety
Adjusting to life changes such as moving abroad, marriage, divorce, the birth of a child, or career transitions
Challenges in intimate or family relationships
Interpersonal difficulties, such as confidence, assertiveness, loneliness, or discomfort with intimacy
Self-criticism or self-doubt
Grief or loss
Lasting effects of past trauma
A desire for greater meaning, authenticity, or personal fulfillment
This list is not exhaustive—no concern is too big or too small. I tailor my approach to your individual needs and goals.
For more information about my style and approach, please see here. I also offer online therapy for patients who prefer or those living elsewhere in France.
What Will Your Psychotherapy Journey Look Like?
Every person’s journey in therapy is unique. Effective therapy combines a strong therapeutic relationship, a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings, and the freedom to try new ways of being with yourself and others. Often, one of the most transformative aspects is simply being truly seen, understood, and accepted.
For some, therapy involves learning new coping skills; for others, it’s about clarifying values, understanding needs, and improving communication. Many also work on identifying and removing barriers to growth and change.
Whatever your path, you don’t have to navigate it alone...I would be honored to support and guide you. To learn more about my treatment approach, read here or schedule an initial consultation to begin the conversation.
